Indeed. He's been doing that for a while now.

You can't have it both ways here-you cannot attack Obama for not doing enough in his last days in office, and then excuse Trumps willful obstruction of doing anything, and attempts to undo what little Obama could do without the support of the Senate and House.

Obama didn't take action initially because he thought Clinton would win. Then all he did was toss 35 Russians out of the country, closed two Russian compounds and exiled nine others. People in his administration were critical of his unwillingness to take real severe action for such a serious violation. Additional *sanctions* have had zero impact. The Republicans weren't involved in this.

Mitch McConnell was skeptical about it all, not "the Republicans" which indicts everyone, and that was at a time when the majority leaders were the only ones apprised of the situation.

Can't put this on Trump - Obama was soft in his response.

From the article I read:

Quote:
More than any other measure, that decision has become a source of regret to senior administration officials directly involved in the Russia debate. The outcome has left the impression that Obama saw Russia’s military meddling in Ukraine as more deserving of severe punishment than its subversion of a U.S. presidential race.

“What is the greater threat to our system of government?” said a former high-ranking administration official, noting that Obama and his advisers knew from projections formulated by the Treasury Department that the impact of the election-related economic sanctions would be “minimal.”
Obama did put the wheels in motion to place cyber bombs throughout the infrastructure of Russia, but it will be up to Trump to continue that plan - and who knows what he'll decide, particularly since it looks like he's now returning the two compounds Obama had taken away.

Trump never said Russia influenced the election. That is what the ENTIRE point is. Deflecting to something else is nothing more than partisan garbage.

But this started as an investigation of Russian interference, not specifically a Trump one. So when he tweets stuff this very weekend like "Obama Administration official said they "choked" when it came to acting on Russian meddling of election. They didn't want to hurt Hillary?"

and

"Since the Obama Administration was told way before the 2016 Election that the Russians were meddling, why no action? Focus on them, not T!"
https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump

.....wouldn't the investigation into Russian interference continue? His tweet says "Russian meddling of election"....what does that mean, then? His tweets have been deemed official Presidential communications, after all.

Because Obama wanted Russian financing for his chain of counterfeit birth certificate operations and other documents forged on demand and useful to illegal aliens. Where is a good question, BTW. I believe Obama has hooked up with the Clintons and they are now doing business in Texarkana. (Bush 2 may be in on it, as well)

But it is specifically about Trump. He won. That is who the left is trying to defeat. "Trump won because of Russia."

It means Americans are stupid. All this talk and no proof Russia changed the election results. That's what matters.

People think it's a big deal that someone hacked into a computer. Why?

I still think Trump says a whole lotta stuff that he doesn't need to say and hurts himself on Twitter. If it's not real, it's wise to shut up and let it all be sorted out. Instead, he definitely makes it seem real (whether it is or not) by specifically talking about stuff like "Russian meddling in the election."

Beats me. Edward Snowden should be given the Nobel Peace Prize if you ask me. Say, what's your password for that cute little laptop I see you're using? I'm a really, really nice hacker. Your bank account and your stolen identity are safe with ME. Now give me that password, already before you force me to hack your iphone back to the stone ages!

PS Trump won because of the electoral college, you silly wabbit.

Another thread where the title is a lie.

Are all these thread just random conservatives posting the nonsense they get from Breitbart and Fox or is this a coordinated attempt at gaslighting the forum?

People are getting tired of it. It was Hillary Clinton who was responsible for the loss....not the Russians.
