The next candidate for the nationalist and populist right. He is running for governor of Kansas but is still young and he will be a star on the Right

He is part of the Brownback legacy, his views on gun control, fossil fuels and voter suppression will make him a darling of the far right but the word "star" doesn't come to mind. I do believe his Harvard education has failed him.

WICHITA, Kan. — Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach was fined $1,000 on Friday by a federal magistrate judge for "patently misleading representations" he made to the court about the contents of a document he was photographed taking into a November meeting with then President-elect Donald Trump.

Voter suppression? Requiring a voter ID is suppression?

He has been at this for years in his home state of Kansas, if there was any fraud it should have been easy for such an educated man to find examples of widespread fraud. So why is he still on a mission.

He has been successful with his voter suppression in backwards Kansas. He will however not succeed nationally as people in other states will not stand for it.

Idk. Maybe it's me. But when a judge fines you for lying in court that should not be a qualification for public office.

Yes, I agree. This Russia thing has gone far enough without a shred of evidence.

It's you.

We have a con man in the white house who has been involved in litigation more than 3500 times and his spokespeople, whom we pay their salaries, are lying through their teeth projecting nonsense to the citizenry.

Congress has become a Death Panel.

The EPA is run by a climate science denier.

The Department of the Interior is letting private special interests exploit publicly owned lands.

One needs to be a scalawag by nature to run this kind of government.

It's the new normal.

I was being sarcastic in my first line. Sorry it didn't come off well.

I agree with you about disqualifying the guy for lying in court.
