Convicted of animal cruelty in 2011, a 54 year old who lived in Tunisia and migrated to Austria in 1989 killed an 87 year old man and his 85 year old wife (then set their house on fire) because the killer thought the man who reported him belonged to a particular political party in Austria and he thought the old couple belonged to it, too. Everything bad that happened to him (like when his welfare was cut or he wasn't treated well at the unemployment office), he blamed on the anti-mass migration political party.

He had been delivering organic groceries.

If all that wasn't bad enough, local media reported the couple he killed had given the killer and his and his wife financial assistance when their organic grocery was struggling. He turned himself in to police after claiming he was going to commit suicide.

But this takes the cake:

"Declaring himself “deeply bewildered” by the brutal murders, Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern said: “Crimes like these destroy people’s confidence in the cohesion of our society, and so must be condemned the hardest. “If people, as apparently happened in Linz, are being murdered because of their connections — whether real or imagined — to a political party, then it is vital that we take a stand against this,” he added, speaking in a broadcast on Saturday."

Elderly Couple Brutally Murdered by Migrant in Anti-Populist Hate Attack

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Talk is cheap.

"Convicted of animal cruelty in 2011,"

What does THAT have to do with anything?

I am continually bewildered by some European Politicians and the current mass migration of people from the third world who don't share our values or morals.

Europe should go back to a time of proper border and immigration controls and scrap the Schengen Area whilst deporting those who we deem a threat to our society, such as those with fundamentalist views.

It's no good having security services watching people born overseas who now live here, if they are a threat to society they should be deported.

Detain, deport, exclude: this is how Britain should respond to terror - Colonel Richard Kemp

That's his criminal record, no more, no less. If they didn't report it, everyone would be asking, how come no media outlet checked if he had a criminal record like the media was covering it up.

That is a major problem when they "don't share our values and morals".

What can be expected when a large group of people migrate into an area that is fundamentally opposed to their views, beliefs and practices or in this case one person.
In the US there has been groups that would like to practice their sharia law. Sharia is not compatible with American values.

Politicians would like everyone to get along and I don't know why they would be clueless as to the problems when one culture is thrust upon another. This has been a problem since the beginning when mankind huddled in caves.

According to Breitbart (=probably fake news), the guy immigrated to Austria 30 years ago, before the Schengen Area was even established.

Didn't realise it was Breitbart.

However I still agree with what I said earlier regarding Schengen.

People didn't mind passport controls or checks being made, indeed may would welcome such checks beng carried out.

Free travel from Tunisia to Schengen countries was not permitted then, and it is not permitted today.

The dude seems like a well vetted migrant if he lived in Austria for 30 years without a problem. Likely he has a mental problem and the anti-immigration political party put him over the edge. An immigrant like him who suddenly got hit with all this right wing anti-immigrant political talk were the "trolls" talk about final solution etcetera, and making Austria white again probably made him coupled with his likely mental disease go over edge. Clearly after 30
Years in a country in a small city dominated by Austrian people he was Austrian culturally. As more of his life has been spent in Austria than his home nation, and when he immigrated from Tunisia, Tunisia at that's time was a popular vacation spot with Europeans.
