As a man, I will happily take a pay adjustment relative to my female coworkers with the same level of responsibility and performance. It would amount to a nice increase for me.
It's pretty simple: a job being performed by two different people with the exact same experience/qualifications should warrant the exact same pay. The end.
I agree, except you excluded at least 2 key factors that should drive compensation: responsibility and performance. Experience and qualifications mean absolutely nothing if the result is inferior performance.

I think I'm hitting those factors.
Responsibility is built into the phrase "a job" (the implication here, while not explicitly stated by me (sorry), is that the job is exactly the same).
Performance (past performance elsewhere if you're a new employee, current performance if you're internal) is built into the terms "experience/qualifications".
When you are at a current workplace and you're up for a raise, then the two concepts above dictate pay. So if your performance has improved, you're now a more qualified/experienced employee and are worth more. Similarly, if your job changes and you take on more responsibility, then your pay should be reflected accordingly.
Again, if there are two people performing the same exact job (same work, same responsibilities) with the exact same experience/qualifications/performance record then they should be payed identically.
No, we don't know that at all. I believe you're now the 3rd poster to make this claim now and no one, has been able to back it up with any sort of proof. Please understand, most people do not accept your opinion as fact, or as a baseline to start any conversation about pay inequality.
You have thoroughly embarrassed all 3 of the posters who have made this claim and have yet been able to backup their opinions with facts, or reality. Hopefully they take this beating as a sign that they their lack of reading and comprehension skills are step 1 in understanding why they are rapidly being passed over for higher paying jobs and promotions. Well done.
No. people in general should make a livable wage and the wage should be for HUmans. at nine dollars an hour if i took a pay cut no bills could get paid
Here's my honest stupidity.... Some times i think that a culture where EVERYONE works doesn't that hurt the economy?
less workers means each worker would do a job start to finish instead of only a piece of it, could rightly make a higher wage to spread out to the family. costs of things could go back down because there are less people with hands out begging for incomes...
...could men just... i dunno... get outta the way and let women take a turn and we could all live happily ever after?
You have no idea what I've done in my life. What I have done is negotiate a good salary. And held firm until they realized I was worth every penny of it. Which is what most women don't do.
Oh yeah, I bet you did. Everyone on CD did the same thing.
