Yep. The REAL question is why did Loretta Lynch and the Obama DOJ let a Russian operative into the US without a visa to lobby Congress, the State Department and Trump Jr for the repeal of the Magnitsky Act, which imposed sanctions on Russia?

Quote:
"Just five days after meeting in June 2016 at Trump Tower with Trump Jr., Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner and then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, Moscow attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya showed up in Washington in the front row of a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing on Russia policy, video footage of the hearing shows.

She also engaged in a pro-Russia lobbying campaign and attended an event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., where Russian supporters showed a movie that challenged the underpinnings of the U.S. human rights law known as the Magnitsky Act, which Russian President Vladimir Putin has reviled and tried to reverse.

The Magnitsky Act imposed financial and other sanctions on Russia for alleged human rights violations connected to the death of a Russian lawyer who claimed to uncover fraud during Putin's reign. Russia retaliated after the law was passed in 2012 by suspending Americans' ability to adopt Russian children.

At least five congressional staffers and State Department officials attended that movie showing, according to a Foreign Agent Registration Act complaint filed with the Justice Department about Veselnitskaya’s efforts.

...in an interview with NBC News earlier this week, Veselnitskaya acknowledged her contacts with Trump Jr. and in Washington were part of a lobbying campaign to get members of Congress and American political figures to see "the real circumstances behind the Magnitsky Act.
Exclusive: DOJ let Russian lawyer into US before she met with Trump team | TheHill

This is going to get very ugly for Obama, Lynch, and the left, and they have no one but themselves to blame for trying to push a narrative to smear the Trumps, when THEY themselves are actually the ones who committed crimes.

The U.S. is a country of laws, and foreign lawyers are often used as lobbyists because they are able to understand the legal system better.

Does this answer your question?
No. She was turned down for a visa and Loretta Lynch and the Obama DOJ admitted her to the US without a visa, anyway.

Additionally, a Foreign Agent Registration Act complaint was filed with the Justice Department about Veselnitskaya’s lobbying efforts.

Does that hold true for the President too? Or do these rules only apply to us hoi polloi?

All part of a nefarious plot to make sure, well I'm not sure what their end game was. But it was genius! And very effective too! I think...

It was "very effective" for Obama and Lynch to get caught at being complicit in violating US FARA Law? They let a Russian operative into the US without a visa, as she had been denied one, to lobby for the repeal of the Magnitsky Act on behalf of Putin, Russia, and Russian investors.

The meeting, agreed to by Trump Jr. because he hoped to receive intelligence on the Hillary campaign, was a bait and switch.

The lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, was really here to lobby for repeal of the Magnitsky Act.

How she got here is a story with a lot of unanswered questions.

In late 2015, she was refused a visa to enter the United States, but then issued a special waiver to enter the US by, then, AG Lynch.

An interesting part from your first source:

"All of this without a visa! Not to mention Veselnitskaya didn’t file a FARA (Foreign Agents Registration Act) document before acting as a lobbyist for a foreign entity, as required by law. Neither, apparently, did Dellums. Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) wrote a fascinating letter Tuesday to Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson asking them to please find out what in the hell Veselnitskaya was doing in this country last June.

And further, it turns out Veselnitskaya was connected to Fusion GPS, the Democrat opposition research firm which employed a former British spy who used Russian contacts to produce the infamous and debunked Pee Pee Dossier smearing Trump. Veselnitskaya hired Fusion GPS head Glenn Simpson to work on behalf of Prevezon, the company she was allowed into the country to represent, in its efforts to repeal the Magnitsky Act. Fusion then hired Christopher Steele, the British spy who drew on Russian sources to produce that dossier, and made him available for private briefings on the dossier with left-leaning media sources such as Mother Jones, the New York Times, the Washington Post, Yahoo! News, the New Yorker and CNN in September."

There are posts here that despise the Trump supporters for defending anything he does. I get it. You can't defend him at every turn. But you refuse to acknowledge that Hillary did anything wrong. You're the same as the die hard Trump people.
I am progressive and a lifelong Democrat who ended his affiliation last election and I and many, many others, especially Sander supporters, who recognize that both parties are totally corrupt, have been very vocal about how the Billionaire Oligarchy had taken over the two parties, the government, the Fed Reserve (most important), and national media.

My own feeling is that those frustrated with the loss of sovereignty should acknowledge the situation as it exists in both parties and form new parties at the grass roots. Elections will still be stolen, but it is time to stop helping the Billionaires and to start helping ourselves.

That's just it, The Cult act as if biased reporting is specific to left leaning media. They act as if fake news never comes from conservative sources and that's nonsense.
