Interesting how I think all but 1 of the Senators on that list with a higher approve than disapprove % are Democrats.

It's obvious people hate Republicans more. And McConnell is by far the worst. He's such a repugnant human being I swear he works for Satan himself.

One wonders where the poll came from? I only recognized three of the senators. It is hard to approve or disapprove of someone you know nothing about. While Sanders is a sweet little old man, he is a socialist. That is not compatible with our constitution so being nice doesn't matter when your values are in the wrong place. Young people like him because he wants to give them something without their earning it.

Maybe it would be a better fit to see which senators are in the center of that list. Top and bottom people usually hold extreme views.

https://morningconsult.com/senate-rankings-april-2017/ People at home usually know their senators best.

All it takes is seeing an ad for the 7th sequel of Fast Furious to know that a whole bunch of Americans are a bit looney in their likes and dislikes.

Additionally, I bet if there were no D or R listed next to the names in the poll, you'd have a bunch of 10% approve, 10% disapprove and 80% unsure. (One reason we should have those designations banned in general elections).

Not sure of the numbers..but I agree...most of these responses are 'knee-jerk' rather than reasoned decisions.

I recognized all 10, but the poll wasn't approval of those Senators across the country, it was a poll of Senators in their states.

I was really warming to Jeff Flake. He seemed like a new breed who was at least starting to put country first. Lately though he is selling out in fear of being primaried. I guess the calculation is that as long as he gets on the ballot he will win.

Most people couldn't name the senators of their own state. That says more about the poll then the poll say about the popularity of senators.
