We need Universal Health care. The dems won't go for it because they feel the need to make a bad mistake work. The right won't vote for it because it is a socialist idea.
We do need UHC but that won't happen because of Democrats as well as Republicans.

It's Obama's disaster. He should have foreseen the consequences of his bad policy.
Its not Trump's problem.

Trump and Republcians are so big on "not owning" Obamacare, that they'd rather let several million people on medicaid lose their coverage to make democrats look bad.

The republicans currently control the United States government. Democrats are ready and willing to work together with Republicans to fix Obamacare. But Trump and McCOnnell would rather let it fail and Americans get screwed over.....just for political points.

Disgusting.

Its working better then I expected it too.

LOTS of propaganda nonsense about it failing that people like you seem to fall for. Reality is, its fairly popular.
I know my rates absolutely went through the roof. Not just premiums, but now a huge deductible. All due to ACA. Worse still the hidden costs that weren't there before. I base my opinions upon how I and those I know have been impacted.

But if Trump takes action to make it WORSE, like stop the subsidies, then Reps own that. I mean come on, you can't put a nail into someone's tire and say it's the driver's fault that he got a flat. If you do something to anything that fundamentally changes it, then you do own the result.

But barring that, I don't think it's fair to say he owns the way ACA is playing out now. He (or the party) does own the failure of Reps to rally around a NEW plan, though. It's laughable that they'd blame Dems for not voting for their plans... that's like calling Reps obstructionists for not voting for a single payer bill. You can't blame someone for not voting for something they fundamentally disagree with.
He doesn't own the results of the ACA up to 2016, or even now. But going forward, anything that happens with the ACA will be owned by him. He has already taken a couple of significant actions against the ACA, and it's unlikely to have a sustainable future because of those actions.

If it fails, he'll certainly own that. I don't see how he couldn't.

Trump needs to step up and be the president of all the people, not just his base. For once, set aside his ego and quit it with healthcare. At least for now.

Trump is such a douche nozzle.

And yet did you have good health insurance with stable rates and not changing insurance to keep your doctor year to year before Obamacare?

Dude, he's not even being president to his base. He's got these fools running around saying healthcare isn't his problem, for goodness sakes!

He gives exactly zero Fs about them. Instead of holding his feet to the fire, his cult absolves him of responsibility.

Unbelievable.
