Trump has asked his advisers about his power to pardon aides, family members and even himself in connection with the probe, according to one of those people. A second person said Trump’s lawyers have been discussing the president’s pardoning powers among themselves.

We really need to fix some of the major flaws of our system. A target of a criminal investigation shouldn't be able to pardon themselves!

Yes, this administration has really brought to light how much of what I assumed was law is just a tradition of ethics and decency. We never had a POTUS who was willing to make a mockery of it before.

Here is a thought. Who leaked this? This is not deep state. This is very close to trump. Another example of leaks coming from his inner circle.
