Are you saying that any old Joe like Two Men and a Truck, or my next door neighbor, or the boys in the frat house across town can call them up and pretend to be current or former intelligence officials and dish dirt they publish?
Otherwise, are you saying that Trump the outsider has insiders in the intelligence community who will go to WAPO, convince them of their authenticity and dish dirt?

I'm fine with leaks about anyone from any party (I'm an Independent) if the content of the leaks should be known by the American public. I don't care what politician is on the other end of that bad leak. I imagine your assumption is that I'm a democrat?
Anonymous sourcing is a legitimate thing. Of course you should be skeptical. Of course it isn't proof, on its own, of anything directly. If true, the people that can do something about it are doing something about it right now. And it has been used in big and impactful stories in the past. If the things about Trump or his team turn out to be true in the end, it will be again shown as a useful tool by journalists.

So if leaks are o.k. so why waste tax payers dollars investigating a dead horse of who hacked into the DNC and Podeta's emails that were made public? everything was true and it exposed how corrupt the DNC was for Hillary Clinton and bias against Bernie........why are we wasting tax payers dollars on this?
at least WIKILEAKS made public the WHOLE content of the emails to the public. These anonymous sources give little information with NO evidence, just allegations with no evidence.
