Russia's a free country, people can believe what they want.
Why would this get "progressives so worked up"?

This claimed sudden come-to-Jesus movement and shift does seem suspect though..
"The poll, which was conducted in late June, revealed that the number of Russian atheists, or those who consider themselves “absolutely irreligious,” fell sharply from 26 percent in 2014 to just 13 percent in 2017.

Default Any port in a storm. Or vodka, or slivovitz or wood alcohol

Yah. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consta...d_Christianity

So what do you do when your pseudo-wanna-be-empire is crumbling to dust all around you? Have they beat the alcoholism issue? Are their live birth numbers @ replacement value yet? Do they have any export other than bitter gall over how they've been misunderestimated by the World?

Da, when you're just another ras-Putin manqué, you grasp @ straws. It's what you do.

Oh, yeah...absolutely nothing.

Talk about a desperate attempt at deflection. Pretty pathetic, OP.

As long as they hate gay people, that's all that matters. Putin is no friend of the gays. Christian conservatives are hoping Trump will institute a Russian-style anti-gay law here.
