I watched a video (forget where) of a mother talking about her young daughter who was getting sex change surgery. Of course, now days liberals love this, it is so touching and compassionate!
But is it really?
Maybe some kids really were born the wrong gender, I have no idea. But how can they be so sure? And how can they let a young child make this irrevocable decision?
I forget the age of the child in the video, but she was definitely under 18.
First of all, it is very common for girls to sometimes wish they were boys, and vice versa. If a girl happens to like sports, or other things where boys are given preference, she will be frustrated at being girl.
If a boy likes fashion, or dancing, or other supposedly girlie things, he might wish he could be a girl.
So the transgender desire might be temporary. And parents are letting their kids have parts of their bodies CUT OFF, based on what could be a passing phase.
BUT FURTHERMORE:
Gender is much more than a penis or breasts. Getting your penis cut off will NOT make you look feminine! Even if you take hormones.
The entire shape of a man's body is different from a woman's. Not just bigger. The proportions are different. And men have angles where women have curves. A man's face and a woman's face DO NOT look the same! No matter how much makeup you use.
I think sex change surgery is mostly a stupid passing fad. With exceptions of course -- if a child has an ambiguous gender, genetically, they might need sex change surgery.
Parents are letting their young teenagers get covered with permanent tattoos, so obviously they are not into thinking about the future. But they should.
Transsexuals experience themselves as being of the opposite sex, despite having the biological characteristics of one sex. A crucial question resulting from a previous brain study in male-to-female transsexuals was whether the reported difference according to gender identity in the central part of the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis (BSTc) was based on a neuronal difference in the BSTc itself or just a reflection of a difference in vasoactive intestinal polypeptide innervation from the amygdala, which was used as a marker. Therefore, we determined in 42 subjects the number of somatostatin-expressing neurons in the BSTc in relation to sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, and past or present hormonal status. Regardless of sexual orientation, men had almost twice as many somatostatin neurons as women (P < 0.006). The number of neurons in the BSTc of male-to-female transsexuals was similar to that of the females (P = 0.83). In contrast, the neuron number of a female-to-male transsexual was found to be in the male range. Hormone treatment or sex hormone level variations in adulthood did not seem to have influenced BSTc neuron numbers. The present findings of somatostatin neuronal sex differences in the BSTc and its sex reversal in the transsexual brain clearly support the paradigm that in transsexuals sexual differentiation of the brain and genitals may go into opposite directions and point to a neurobiological basis of gender identity disorder.
this as is, is a rapidly increasing poplar way to flat out deny basic truth, and one that IS truly an external source that can ' victimize' us.
While people complain they are victims of obesity because of fast food and gmo's they REFUSE to be a victim of life, biology and chromosomes.

tell someone like this - the sun is set therefore it is night- and watch out for the 'yeabutdidyaknow......' in a question sounding statement that has a lot of " like"s and " kinda"s in it ( possibly 'just' s and 'because' s too lol)
debating being the opposite sex is what every kid does and its good for them so that they can learn things about both genders and realize how to use their own to their advantage and also how to interact with the opposite.
These kids aren't the issue, its the " fully developed and mature rational" adults who know that life can be difficult, or lack thereof.

You know, what you think don't mean ****. It don't. My friend Michelle's kids think they should get cookies for breakfast, but Michelle doesn't care what they think about it, because they don't have the facts. So what they think is irrelevant.
So here are some facts for you. It ain't about what we feel. It's about who we are. And if you seriously think we're running around wily nilly getting our junk chopped off, you're crazier than Michelle Bachmann on bath salts. And it you think it's a passing fad, you don't know what the hell you're talking about. Trans people have been having SRS since the damn 50s. Do you know who Christine Jorgensen is? You probably don't.
I've explained this to you before, so why don't you stop being a coward and say what you mean. We freak you out. We disgust you. Because like most things that disgust you, you lack the capacity to understand it. You know, homos, algebra, **** like that.
I know people like you aren't ever going to change. I get that. Meanwhile, the rest of us are trying to make this world a little more open minded, and that's happening whether you like it or not.

There are hermaphrodite and other intersex individuals, people with chromosomal disorders such as Kleinfelter's and Turner's Syndrome, hormonal disturbances that can mask biological sex, transvestitism in addition to transgender, plus many other conditions that makes the concept of biological sex far more complicated than your little simplistic paragraph portrays.
If only life were so simple. But it isn't. There are hermaphrodite and other intersex individuals, people with chromosomal disorders such as Kleinfelter's and Turner's Syndrome, hormonal disturbances that can mask biological sex, transvestitism in addition to transgender, plus many other conditions that makes the concept of biological sex far more complicated than your little simplistic paragraph portrays.
Of course there are a very minute number with different conditions and variables. But for 99.5% of America, my assessment covers all necessary grounds. We certainly don't need to create new bathrooms for all these rarities. 2 is plenty enough.
So if Kaitlyn Jenner likes girls is she a lesbian or not?
