But, but, but...the Republicans voted to repeal the ACA like 70 times over the last seven years! I was so sure they must have had a plan now that they control the White House, The Senate AND the House of Representatives! Oh, wait....

Here's the deal...

Obama saved them from the hard work of having to come up with a plan of their own. They knew their 70 votes to repeal the ACA would go nowhere.

But they had from November 9th until January 20th to do something. But instead, they chose to do nothing but drink eggnog. Maybe they thought tRump really had that wonderful plan he always bragged about during the campaign. Maybe the Pub leaders in congress shoulda touched base with tRump. The guy wanted "Repeal and replace on his desk on day 1!" after all. He said it was easy. Until he said it was complicated.

At this point, it's clear that the GOP is packed full of lazy BS artists. The biggest is in the WH.

But they ARE amusing.

This popped up on my FB feed today.
It is from May, but certainly even more applicable today.

"He is thus the all-time record-holder of the Dunning-Kruger effect, the phenomenon in which the incompetent person is too incompetent to understand his own incompetence. Trump thought he’d be celebrated for firing James Comey. He thought his press coverage would grow wildly positive once he won the nomination. He is perpetually surprised because reality does not comport with his fantasies."
