I looked this term up. Found its definition. Posted it. So are you suggesting Trump is being gaslighted? Or gaslit? Or gas whatever?
Because the definition says psychologicallly manipulated into question your own sanity...

Uh, you can recognize a technique without actually having fallen for it. Constantly lying about things and trying to convince people of an alternate reality is gaslighting.
So is he a gas lighter? Narcissist? Pathological liar? He sure is something when he keeps saying all these lies (as verified by his own White House and the people supposedly on the other end of the calls, in this case)

No. Most people, anyways. Look at the distinction...if one is gaslighting, this is what they are trying to do. Whether or not it actually works determines how effective they are at it, not whether or not it's being done. Guess he is not good at it for many.
So...what is your explanation as to why he says so many lies?
This is what we have in the White House now. A gaslighter. No matter what is reported, no matter what Trump himself says, he will come back and insist that he didn't say it, that it did not happen. Every. Single. Day.
He brags about his calls from the boy scouts and from the Mexican president. Oops, well no, no phone calls, sorry. He threatens to fire commanders in charge of the Afghanistan war. Well, no. No he didn't. And those instances are just from the past two days. I can't believe Sarah Sanders head hasn't blown right off her shoulders as she continues to try and spin the crazy. Unbelievable.
Were you this unhinged when Obama was lying to you on a regular basis?
Ingrid Bergman overacted (but was beautiful as always). Charles Boyer was a good villain.
& it also had a very young Angela Lansbury who looked just like.....20 year old Angela Lansbury with a 40 year old Angela Lansbury face. She assisted with the Gaslighting, and she was also kind of creepy (with that 40 y/o Angela Lansbury face).
Has anyone ever seen Trump and Angela Lansbury at the same time...at the same place? Something to think about.

In dump's case this is the appropriate definition:
"to tell a bald faced lie to someone and then brazenly deny that this was ever done"
It COULD be that some don't realize that words do have various meanings...
