You completely missed the point.
It wasn't about sympathy for Trump. It's about rooting out authoritarians of all stripes, including the ones who purport to speak up for the oppressed.

The article certainly paints them as a flip-side to the same coin. Perhaps that's unfair. I don't really know anything about any of them, and had never heard of any of them before. If the accusations are true, and they're probably fairly easy to fact-check, I can't say I have much respect for any of them either.
