Oh, wow! You sure got me, dude! Put me right in my place!
Now, do you have anything intelligent to add? Any specific examples of a "socialist" country that you've experienced?
1. I am not sure how I've "got you" or "put you right in your place."
You've said that you felt like talking to a "brick wall" while addressing someone from the former "Socialist countries." I confirmed to you that yes, it's a case.
2. I am not a "dude."
3. You want the "specific example?"
Not a problem. I am talking about the "mothership" of them all - the USSR.
When Canada forces people who earned more to pay more income taxes. As a decent person, this should never be acceptable!
Why is this such a hard concept for certain people to understand???
No, it's the other way around.
This is totally acceptable when talking about "decency."
Because normally, that's what decent moral people accept to do on their own accord. Because they understand that life is not fair, and they try to make it as fair as possible, as much as they can.
Do you have anything sensible to say to counter my claim that no one is forcing me with violence to pay my taxes? I am free to leave the country and live somewhere else if I don't want to pay taxes, no one is holding a gun to my head.

Yes, decent and moral people should do that on their own accord VOLUNTARILY, but nobody should be forced to do so.

lifeexplorer is from CANADA.
Canada is a SOCIAL DEMOCRACY. It's NOT a SOCIALIST country. Do you understand the difference? Do you honestly think that Canada is like China, Cuba, or the former USSR? If so, please explain. And I'll assume that you've actually LIVED in Canada or another SOCIAL DEMOCRATIC country to have the experience to support your claims.

co·er·cion
noun
the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats.
You aren't able to leave the country if you owe taxes.
Yes, decent and moral people should do that on their own accord VOLUNTARILY, but nobody should be forced to do so.
Then it's all coming back to such notion as a "nation" and how many decent people are in every given nation.
