A LOCAL council has banned the construction of a synagogue in Bondi because it could be a terrorist target, in a shock move that religious leaders say has caved in to Islamic extremism and created a dangerous precedent.

And yet, Australian authorities foiled an Islamic terrorist plot only yesterday. From the Sydney Morning Herald:

The alleged terrorism conspiracy that police cracked open last week served as a chilling example of how IS figures use supporters as puppets to carry out terrorism in foreign countries.

Emphasis added. If Australian police are "cracking open a Muslim terrorist case," then Australia is hardly capitulating, IMHO.
