Nonsense. I was not incorrect. Did you even bother to read your article that you posted? If you did then read it again carefully, slowly and honestly and let the message sink in. There is absolutely no where in that article where the immigration lawyer has indicated that American citizens can qualify as refugees. Not in Canada, not anywhere.
Do you know what "refugee" means? At this time in history there is no such thing as an American refugee. Such a status does not exist for the citizens of the richest and most powerful and most productive and entitled country in the world.
The only way there can be American citizen refugees is if a disaster happens on continental USA such as destruction from war or natural disaster that destroys the country, makes it uninhabitable and displaces the people and they have no safe refuge to go to in USA and must abandon the country to seek survival and safe refuge elsewhere.
If American citizens presently living in other countries are forced to flee those countries because of disaster they still won't qualify as refugees in any other country because they already have the legal right to return to the richest and most powerful and most productive and entitled country in the world.

Apparently Canada does NOT want them either... they say one thing on TV and do another behind the scenes... all refugees HAVE to be seen by a judge and the judge is backlogged for YEARS... those who fail to see the judge in a couple months are DEPORTED because of the backlog... and Canada REFUSES to expand the number of judges to get these illegal immigrants into their country and reduce the backlog... Canada doesn't want them in reality...

Why would Canada want to accept illegal immigrants into the country? Only genuine refugees from other countries are being admitted.
You make the above statement as though you think Canada should want illegal immigrants and should be doing something extra to get illegal immigrants into the country quickly. What kind of insane thinking is that?
