Poor Jimmy, so one president didn't reach out. Whoop dee doo, what makes him so special, hundreds of millions of Americans never received any personal messages or greetings from any president.

Shortly after the clip aired, Barack Obama showed his support throguh a thoughtful tweet. After being asked about the tweet, Kimmel said the former president also "sent a very nice letter." Adding, "He wished us the best and thanked us for speaking."

Which other presidents reached out to Kimmel? "President Clinton sent a letter. President [George W.] Bush sent a very nice letter. A number of congresspeople sent notes," he said. Noticeably absent from the list was the current sitting president, Donald Trump.

I'm not reading the article. Is this something Kimmel personally commented on? Or is this Yahoo just trying to stir the pot?

Interesting. It doesn't surprise me that George W. Bush would send a note. Bush Sr. was quite well known for sending handwritten notes of thanks and support, which is credited for advancing his career in politics. Son clearly takes after his father.

presidents are mass murderers. Why would anyone want well wishes from them?

Worth noting that former Presidents Clinton, G. W. Bush, Obama, and former Secretary of State Clinton have all been guests of Jimmy Kimmel's show. It makes sense that they would reach out to him following his son's medical issues. Trump and Kimmel have been at odds since day one. Not at all surprising that Trump would refrain from sending a message of support. I wouldn't say it was a classy move on Trump's part, but it's not unexpected.
