The compared word mean black. Okay for shoes, horses, cats, not good for people.
Suppose a person of African ancestry was fired and rehired, would you be okay with "BLACK IS BACK"?
It's an issue upon which it's very hard to draw a line; as a Gentile, I very seldom find myself a minority in predominately-Jewish groups, but it can happen. And the only occasions upon which I've seen the us/them mentality take over were among secular non-religious Jews with a political bent -- usually (but not always--Ayn Rand was a secular Jew) Left-leaning. Among the more-conservative/orthodox groups "live and let live" seems to be the rule, and I've learned a lot about getting along from those who've provided the opportunity.
