A few days ago I asked two different women why they voted for Trump, now everyone who has a pulse knows that Trump believes that if you have enough money then you can get a women to do anything.
We all know about the things he said on the bus that's nothing new.
For you women out there, WHY? Why would you vote for someone who called women whores?
The two I asked one said nothing and the other went off about Bill Clinton who as we all know got a hummer. I'm sure most or all presidents at some point had something on the side.
Women have had to fight every step of the way to get where they are today and STILL have to prove themselves.

So why?
The women I know who voted for Trump did so because they don't buy into identity politics and didn't want to see the Wicked Witch of Washington in the White House. Admittedly, they weren't happy with Trump and would have preferred just about anyone else, but it was Trump or Hillary so they cast their vote for the lesser of two evils.
My wife voted for Johnson, as did I, because neither the Dems nor the Reps put up anybody that we felt was worth voting for.
I love how the left excuses Clinton's behavior by saying "Oh, that's just what presidents do." Did you forget about his multiple sexual assault charges? Or about the fact that he not only lied to the American people about his White House activities but also lied under oath about it? I guess if Trump were to have an affair with an intern the Dems would just look the other way because "that's what presidents do." Right?
Well, I didn't so I'm probably the worng person to answer this question. I am an independent and did not 100% support any candidate. But I too had a hard time understanding how a woman could votre for someone who seems to value women only at the most superficial and patriarchal way.
But everybody votrs for their own reasons and priorities. And some women clearly decided that Trump's attributes better supported their goals for the future. I disagree with the calculation coming out as Trump being the better choice, but since I did not 100% agree with the candidate for whom I voted I get it. You have to decide what is most important to you and accept the rest.
I didn't vote for Trump because I had the luxury of not doing it in my state - I think he is a buffoon. I knew he would win here. If I lived in a state that my vote mattered I would have voted for him. But I would NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton. Plus the makeup of the SCOTUS is important to me to keep balanced and out of the hands of activist judges who believe the Constitution is a living document. Politicians rarely follow through with what they campaign on and I have been through enough elections to know this. I was freaking flabbergasted when Trump won and laughing my dang a$$ off til the wee hours of the morning. I thought like everyone else did that Clinton would win. Now I can only hope that immigration and tax reform can get done.
OP - The fact that you think his crude comments would solely keep women from voting for him is ridiculous. I have heard much worse many times.
I'm a female who did not vote for Donald Trump- but I know many women who did. Around the time of the election I discussed it at length with many of them because I was trying to understand why. The most common reasons were:
•He's the Republican candidate
•He's not Hillary
•The most important thing to think of is the SCOTUS- a Republican in power will ensure that the vacated seats are filled by conservatives
•He wants to repeal/replace Obamacare
•He's a 'successful' millionaire businessman who will run the country like a business and MAGA.
•My husband says to vote for him
The first and second points prevailed the most, sadly.
