All about slavery? Right. No mention of Jim Crow laws? Since you want to tell of stories tell us the one where whites obliterated a black town in Florida. An incident where whites killed women and children all based on a lie told by a white woman about being raped by a black man. It took what?b 70 years before the state made reparations to the survivors?

So you do not want to tell that story? Don't blame you, doesn't fit your agenda.

Wtf are you talking about , of course there were race riots and racism in the south . But you don't want to talk about race riots up north huh. Like the NYC draft riots ,one of the largest civil and racial insurrection in American history. Over 100 dead , thousands injured

Doesn't fit your agenda I guess

Oh no. Not riots. Not even close. A white posse eradicated a back town. You want to cite some esoteric incident where a back may have owned a black slave to gloss over massive racism purported over decades. And it does not matter whether that occurred in the north or the south. Both are wrong and despicable.

If a town decides to take down a statue and you do not like it then either move or run for office. It is called democracy,

Don't forget the Tulsa race riots, where many white residents of Tulsa burned down all of the black-owned businesses and murdered people. Mainly because they were jealous (that area of Tulsa was known as "Black Wall Street" and was very successful).

You can play this "whatabout, whatabout" all day long...in the end, America has a lot to atone for...Dred Scott Decision (awful), Jim Crow (awful), lynchings, Segregation (awful)...and that's not even including the nation's original sin of wiping out indigenous people.
