The Donald spends like every weekend at Mar-a-Lago and has on average golfed EVERY FIFTH DAY!
YES, he IS taking a lot of vacations, which he criticized Obama for and swore he WOULDN'T DO. He is a LIAR. And he is costing taxpayers far more per day/week/month than Obama did.
Trump and his 18-member first family spend so much time on vacation and at Trump properties, that at least 1000 SS agents have not gotten paid due to salary caps for all the hours they're putting in.
These are people who put their life on the line for a man who treats them like personal servants. Disgusting, but typical of Trump. He screws over everyone.
Trump also charged Secret Service over $7000 for port-a-potties at Bedminster, and over $13,000 for golf carts to follow him around his golf course.
Trump and his pathetic grifter family are bleeding taxpayers dry for his own personal benefit, and his supporters still cheer after years of attacking Obama for spending far far less.

So you think they should work for free once they hit their cap? Put in hours of overtime and not get paid? Would you?
Yes, as a salaried IT manager, I worked for "free" a whole bunch, because I was not eligible for any overtime. It was part of the job. I knew it going in, and I agreed to it just as these agents did. Additionally, I didn't make close to $160k.
If they work 12 hours a day 300 days a year, they are still making $45 an hour.
I think that like with vacation costs, a President and their family should be required to pick up the tab over a certain amount.
I do not wish harm on the President or his family, and realize that the secret service role is necessary - but if expenditure has gone over due to weekend trips to Mar-A-Lago or any other personal, non business trips, then the cost burden for those trips (including secret service pay) should rest at the President's personal account.
I firmly believe that should be the case for any President- Democratic or GOP.
I think that like with vacation costs, a President and their family should be required to pick up the tab over a certain amount.

The POTUS should have a fixed travel budget that can't be surpassed unless during a war declared by congress.
