Two things first. One, I am not suggesting that most of the left currently supports violence against the alt right. Two, I am not suggesting that the alt right is correct in their views, or that they shouldn't be opposed. My question is very specific. Is violence against the alt right becoming acceptable? Before you dismiss this as nonsense, consider this. I will try to find links for these. I saw all of these randomly without noting how to find and link them, and after the third instance decided upon this thread because it seemed to be becoming a common theme.
* An Antifa protester/supporter interviewed on TV acknowledged that they are willing to commit vandalism and even acts of physical violence against the alt right.
* Antifa protesters have said in print interviews that they are willing to commit violence against the alt right, as have some left wing groups without Antifa ties.
* One professional protester who was arrested for assaulting a neo Nazi, even though he was protesting peacefully, has asked the judge to throw her case out because, while she admits to physical violence, since it was against an alt right protester it should be seen as acceptable.
This attitude seems to be growing. Will the more mainstream left embrace it in time?
Has the mainstream right adopted the violent tactics of the extremist anti abortion elements of conservatism that have bombed clinics and shot doctors?
The fascist Left supports violence against people they disagree with politically. You can't be a Leftist and not be filled with hate and violence in your heart.
One thing is certain- the msm does not condemn antifa violence nor has dem leaders. If anything they have made excuses. Has the sickle and hammer been mentioned even once?

My point is that the right understands that running down leftists and killing them is unacceptable. Nobody on the right has said that violence against the left is acceptable and not criminal behavior. Some on the left are advocating for violence against the alt right, and even using the fact that they ARE the alt right as a legal defense for assault.
There is a difference between " idiots on both sides" , and one side moving towards institutionally accepting violence against the proper unacceptables.

Precisely, what do you mean by Alt-Right, or are you just parroting another meaningless term devised to demonize people without need for fact or truth.
