The true criminal masterminds rob you blind while you are enjoying it.

Besides, you won't recognise a professional killer; they don't give a damn about their image, as long as people underestimate them or do not see them as criminal.
What are you taklking about? Profesional killers, criminal masterminds? Turn off the friggen TV.
Do you think most muggers & burglers are criminal masterminds or most murderers are profesionals? & if they are shouldn't that just make people take their saftey more seriously?

Martial arts are a great thing. But more often than not in a real violent spontaneous fight they are next to meaningless. Most people, & I believe your one, get involved in martial arts for the health benefits, not to learn to defend themselves from an attacker. Can it be used that way? Certainly, but YOU need the right attiitude & in a real fight the atitude you need is to WIN, not just discourage or chase off an attacker.

Regarding violent encounters my instructor advises the use of a weapon if its available. There are too many unknowns, its not a sparing match.

I'v seen Karate black belts get beat to a pulp by regular street thugs & lie there crying after the fact that the thug "Didn't fight by the rules" or "that wasn't fair"

The reality is a person needs more than just fancy fighting skills to confidently defend against an attack. Guns fill that role nicely.

Consider the source - someone who's only information is from fictional television shows.

Yea I saw the same thing once when I was in the Navy. Kung Fu man squared off with another sailor, when he bent down to take off his shoes got his butt kicked, man did we laugh

While in the Navy (back before sails - I think we used oars), I got in a fight with some clown. I strangled him with a rolled up towel until he fainted. It was the only way I could get him to stop trying to choke me. He was in the same Navy. When I got into fights with Victor Charlie I used a gun. A big heavy gun.

Martial arts are more than just the physical, but I doubt that you'll ever understand this.
Only guns at long range would render martial arts meaningless.

Criminals in America have Pantzers now?
Somehow I'm not surprised.

What am I, your history teacher?
Do your own research.
I bet no teacher in America taught you that America did not win WWII single-handedly.

Astonishing what one can achieve just by hiding in the cellars, attics, and woods. And ain't it so much more convenient to let others do the fighting for you.
At least we Dutch know the difference between good and evil.
Are you suggesting that the people who hid the Jews from the Nazis are cowards or only let others fight for them?

Yoda truly is a wise individual. I bet Yoda knows that nationalism and fascism are different sides of the same coin.
