Give the guy a break. He bought his way out, fair and square. [/sarcasm]

I just saw the movie Friday night. I thought it was way, way too kind to that murdering slime.

If a "normal" man had been responsible for a woman's death, and fleeing the scene, and the ensuing cover-up, they would have gone to jail for a long time.

Ted Kennedy walked away.

Despicable.

Apparently, Mary Jo remained conscious in that upside-down sedan for a time after its submersion, living off a small bubble of trapped air. Her sufferings were great.

Kennedy did every single thing WRONG, and had he done anything right, she might have lived.

It cost him the Presidency, yet he kept his Senate seat, and received no legal ramifications. He should have been prosecuted for Manslaughter at the minimum, and done jail time, losing his political career as well. Instead, he lied, it was covered up, and he got off. Money, and power trump justice, which is neither blind, nor fair, nor just.

The New York times is a Far Left propaganda tool. Nothing more. Of course they will be "outraged". They are outraged Obama didn't get a third term.

I know that I'd be in jail. Oops, I don't have money, power and influence!!!!!

After all, for him, it was only one girl (that we know of) although to me, she was a woman!

The rescue diver said she could have lived between 2 and 4 hours after the car was submerged. Had he been called he could have saved her.

He wasn’t in the damn car when she drove it into the water. He lied about the incident because he had no alternative story as to why she was in that car alone. He obviously thought that she made it off the island.

When he was examined, there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with him physically to indicate that he’d been in an accident. No bruises or anything. No one ever reported seeing him in wet clothing.

His cover up story ended up being worse than the truth.
Then why did he call the next morning to report it? In your fantasy version, he had no idea the accident even happened.

I know. It doesn't make any sense.

He never did report it despite being urged to by his cousin, Joe Gargan and Paul Markham.
