Looks like nearly 56 billion of the 107 billion or 52% of cuts will come under the new healthcare law will be California.
Can't wait to see how California proposes as far as tax increases to come up with the shortfall.
Thanks to this bill, the thin ice California has been skating in for not supporting President Trump's agenda is now broken and California has to come with 56 billion dollars in extra revenue.
CA is already in a tight spot. Remember that expanded medicaid called for states to start contributing after so many years.
Well it's time to pay the piper and CA is getting nervous as 3 million got on the expanded medicaid bandwagon.

This bill takes money away from blues states, which extended medicaid, and gives them to red states who didn't. That was a poor choice by red states. So blue states will bail you out and pay for your bad choices if this bill goes through. Red states will get the rewards from blue states doing the right thing. How is that fair.

Cool. I thought the point of healthcare reform was to improve affordable, quality coverage; but apparently it's just so you can gloat about some hope of damaging a US state.
But in general, it makes sense to me that CA gets some reduction. They have been getting disproportionately more.

All 50 states get an equal per capita block grant. I'm not seeing the problem.
The GOP is proposing to run the federal government as though it was a crime syndicate. Maybe Trump can pardon a few Mafia dons out of prison, to be his advisers?

More like a third world dictatorship.
