Kim jong un is threatening to test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific soon and the fallout from it could be far reaching.

What can be done to stop the test?

What happens if North Korea tests a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific? - CNN

When the Fukashima nuclear plant in Japan had its meltdown we had radioactive debris washing up on our shores. Who knows how it affected the ocean and the creatures in it.
If "rocket man" sets off a bomb what if a commercial airplane flying nearby is affected by the flash or EMP and it crashes? Could it be viewed as an act of war? What if the NK missile goes "off course" and affects a populated area?

We have so many people that are flipping out about global warming. What affect will a hydrogen bomb and its radioactive fallout have on the earth? The global warming crowd seems more concerned about Trump talking tough at the UN then they do about a hydrogen bomb detonation?

What can be done to stop this test?

Why should it be stopped?

We exploded dozens of much larger nukes in the S Pacific.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were firecrackers in comparison.

Fairly reasonable for the taxpayer as well: covert transportation to NK, .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge, and military sniper pay.

We typically don't send them over Japan's airspace unless we are at war with them. Especially when we don't have a clue as to what we are doing and our missiles could unexpectedly detonate at any moment. Starving engineers with a second grade education do not make good missile designers.

NK wants

1. assurance that America and its allies will never screw with its government (or its country, depending on how you view this scenario).

2. At the very minimum, if they can’t convince South Korea and America to stop their military exercises, move their exercises elsewhere.

3. Be considered an actual country with an actual government, which will hopefully allow sanctions to be lifted from them, effectively ensuring that Kim stays in power forever, which is (somewhat) scary.

4. Money and assistance. Basically, they want to leech off of others forever

If you give these to them, they'd stop. Otherwise, no.

There are only two ways to deal with a blackmailer

1. Consider taking away the blackmailers leverage

2. give in
