First Bethune Cookman, Notre Dame and now Howard, students take a stand again.

Quote:
Students at Howard University loudly protested former FBI Director James Comey Friday as he delivered a convocation address. As Comey, making a rare public appearance since leaving the FBI, began his speech welcoming new students at Howard University, protesters could be heard yelling from the back of the room, raising their fists and shouting. Some of the slogans included "No justice, no peace, "We shall not be moved" and "white supremacy is not a debate."
Standing before a packed auditorium, Comey stood silently for over 15 minutes as the students yelled, "I love being black" and "Get out James Comey -- you're not our homey."

Bad choice I guess. He should have submitted a topic for approval to the social justice warriors. Maybe they would have allowed it if it were approved. Otherwise, public speaking is a no go these days.

I don't understand why College Administrators allow this. Even if the administrators have no control of it they should at least formally condemn these types of people from coming on the campus.

These people do not want anyone to speak at this point. They are rendering Freedom of Speech moot.

That's how communism works, after all.

Bet they would cheer Raul Castro though.

The campus snowflakes (that's most of the students and teachers) still blame Comey for Hillary's defeat almost a year ago. (When they're not blaming Breitbart, Russia, Milo, Bannon, deplorables, in fact everyone except Hillary herself.)

So their hate is thick and virulent when he dares open his mouth.

They have enough control to have the hecklers removed by campus police if they really wanted to.

But they are too chicken themselves because the students will turn on them.

The lunatics are running the asylum now.

Just to be clear here, you're saying you don't understand the admins allowing the *speaker* on campus? And you're saying the admins should 'formally condemn' the *speaker*?

I think tillman7 was referring to the *speaker,* not said hecklers.

Well if that's the case screen the speakers to make sure the college stays an "echo chamber" with no discourse or differing opinion.
Got to keep the students happy..right ?

FWIW this is a culmination of administrators bowing to student demands over the past couple of years.
Safe spaces, counseling when you hear a differing opinion, using intolerance to promote "tolerance", etc.

These professors taught them well, didn't they ?
