Wrong, these people won't be hired in the first place. Who doesn't see them as a lawsuit waiting to happen?
Fact of the matter is, easy student loans, grants and such have driven the soaring cost of 'college'. Not the other way around. The 'colleges' are now dependent on the student loan 'babies', because the easy money has also driven up other costs; salaries, benefits, physical plant. Symbiotic relationship where the host - colleges - is having its life sucked out of it by the parasite; but would die sooner without the parasite. Thus the colleges will not take any action out of fear of survival.
