I do agree about the millionaire athletes, but I agree with the protest. Its NOT un-american what they are doing, I believe the founding fathers would probably encourage a bit more be done actually!

One can be a proud patriotic american, in that they are proud of the nation and what is was founded on, BUT, that does not mean they should give all that patriotism and honor to a tyrannical govt like the type we have in power today.

When it comes to tyrannical authority, the american way IS TO PROTEST, its our right and duty to step up and put a stop to it, Thats why the founders included things in the constitution like the 2nd amendment, its to give the people the power and right to throw off such govts if they should ever become tyrannical...being totally obedient and subservient to, and even going so far as to honor a tyrannical govt is not even remotely patriotic, its treasonous.

God, the responses are so lame - "Sactown?" lol

Steph Curry has principles and he stands up for them. That's ONE of the reasons he is well-loved.

Trump is a whiney baby and an embarrassment to the U.S. and world, at large.

No one in their right mind would feel it's an "honor" to visit him - he's such a boor.

Good job Trump. Most of America is tired of athlete whining.

LOL. Curry and all these dumb jocks would have gone to the White House if Obama was president (and they have). The U.S. Government under Obama is the same U.S. Government now. The faces may have changed but everything else is the same. If it wasn't tyrannical under Obama, then it couldn't be tyrannical now.

They already said they weren't going to go. Trump is acting like a little girl with the "I break up with you first!" routine.

They (and folks like you) are just ignorant.
No, it's not the same. No one respects the infantile amateur who acts like a clown on a daily basis the way they respected the previous 44 men who employed the office. He's a classless buffoon and complete jerk to anyone who disagrees with him, which is why no one from any walk of life (fellow classless trash like Ted Nugent and Kid Rock aside) want anything to do with him.

Then everything was mutual. They didn't want to go and then Trump didn't bother to invite them. So what's your petty jab at Trump will be now?

Seems like he just put an end to the "will they go" thing by not extending an invitation. Now there's no need to ask every player/coach if they'd go. Sorta hilarious how cry babies act when they don't get their way on Election Day.
