The Unified Command meetings are for the local government leadership to meet with the Incident Commander and set priorities and coordinate resources between the Federal government and local government.

That is a job you do NOT delegate if your the mayor. Particularly, in the case of an disaster of this magnitude.

It means your NOT doing your job. She should be removed from office.

OP, roads are blocked, and there's no electricity to pump diesel into the trucks. HOW are you gonna get roads passable and goods delivered on roads that are blocked and bridges destroyed??

What moron would believe a Mayor should delegate one of the most important duties to an underling. Better she should grab a megaphone and wade through flooded streets for photo ops.

Gravity feed, is like a thing of the past?
There is plenty of diesel and gas.

They have made some roads passable.

They have no one wanting to drive the supplies. The National Guard needs to ship in rig haulers and tell the Teamsters Union. Try me....
