This is not true. The 'left' gets upset when someone who lives in Nevada and is probably not a hunter has 10 guns and kills over 50 by shooting at them.

I'm not a gun guy, I don't own one but from my understanding a semi automatic rifle shoots a round as fast as you can pull the trigger and is probably more accurate for distance shots which this guy was doing. I can't imagine he used the automatic feature if he was concerned about accuracy.

I've been thinking about this sad massacre all morning. At first I wanted to blame the hotel where the shooter worked for maybe giving the shooter a raw deal that drove him crazy.

After looking deeper into why these things happen more frequently, I realize that references to God and the rules of living that religion teaches us have been totally stripped from the public scene. Even if there is no one watching over us as millions believe, just the framework of goodness that is taught by organized religion makes the acts by people and those who were just following orders unthinkable.
