What..is Sheriff Joe going to provide the "hard evidence" of the Trump-Russian connection ?
Another "unidentified source" leaking info from the investigation.
I'm starting to think this is being done on purpose to keep the investigation front and center and "fresh".
You mean like Trump's tweeting to distract from the investigation and his Family's use of private email?
Or do you mean like Trump's tweeting to distract from his failure to pass any new policy at all?
Because while you see leaks as some folk trying to keep the investigation at the top of the hour, i see Trump doing anything and everything he can to draw attention away from Russian meddling and team Trump's role in it...
Eliminate pardons completely skycaller? Why? That seems a tad extreme. Pardons are only issued for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment. State Crimes can not be pardoned.
If Mueller is looking into a loophole to keep Trump from pardoning anyone involved with his administration, then he must be concerned that Trump would abuse that power. I wouldn't be surprised if he's not looking into state crimes.
It's already been abused by past Presidents.
Clinton pardoned his Whitewater friends.
Obama pardoned nearly 2000 and some were violent criminals and many were hardened drug dealers.
If the House and Senate pass articles of impeachment for treason, bribery, or "high crimes and misdemeanors" he most certainly will be removed from office. That's what impeachment is about.
Impeachment itself does remove anyone from office, impeachment is the process of bringing charges against someone. They need to vote on conviction of those charges before any removal from office would occur. Clinton was impeached but not removed from office because the vote to convict failed.
Presidential pardons are absolute, and they apply to any crime federal or state. Legal scholars claim the only crimes that might be excluded from a pardon are those that are listed in the Constitution itself: treason and currency debasement. Neither of these have been tested in the courts.

Exactly.
Nixon resigned because the House passed Articles of Impeachment and he didn't have the votes in the Senate to avoid being convicted and booted from office.
Clinton did not resign because though the House passed Articles of Impeachment, there were not enough votes in the Senate to convict him.
Nixon was caught covering up a botched R raid on the Ds.

cool story bro, you should send your ruling to the SCOTUS.. and if it has not been tested in court how do you know ?
Clinton was caught lying while under oath, while rare he could of been criminally charged. He was ultimately fined and disbarred for his criminal actions.
Sessions should be busy investigating all of the other corruption and illegality the Obama administration engaged in, too. Obama oversaw the most corrupt administration in U.S. History.
Dare to dream.
In the last 50 some years, R administrations have 89 convictions - 89.
D administrations - 1.
Obama administration - 0.
R administrations have been more criminally corrupt by a long shot. 89 to 1.
Rs went after Obama administration tooth and toenail. No stone left unturned. No hearing too long. Nothing too insignificant to blather about endlessly.
Still - 0.
Sessions could get going on that if he wasn't so concerned about avoiding an indictment himself.

AG General Sessions lied under oath. Wonder what the charge for that will be?
