The US economy hit a wall in the 70s. Instead of readjusting internally, it used its reserve currency and global exploitation to gain an extra few decades of consumerism. If exploitation is acceptable, then we could say that capitalism wins. However, history shows us thatcapitalism only works until there is nothing left to exploit.
And the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.
Who's pushing communism? And don't say it's Democrats unless you also believe that every other modern country in the world is even more communist than we are.
Yes, the entire Democrat party - they may just change their name to Communist party. At least, that would be honest.
Democrats love capitalism just as much as anyone....just look at how many rich Dems are in Congress and are CEO's!
Why are all of the wealthiest cities in the US run by Libs? NYC, Chicago, SF, LA, Miami, Seattle, Boston,etc.
Why are all the poorest states (Mississippi?) run by Republicans / Conservatives?

Plenty of communist supporters were rich and they didn't know what the hell they were supporting until after their heads rolled on the ground. By the way, it's not a metaphor; it's a historical fact.
Anybody dumb or evil enough to support communist/socialist ideas deserves what's coming for him/her.
Communism/socialism exploits and promotes the two evilest characteristics in human: jealousy and violence with impunity.
If you want to see anything worse than Nazi/Fascism, it is communism and socialism.
