If NBC is deliberately lying and making up news and engaging in libel, them its license should be pulled. Media lies are not protected. I hope Trump follows through, but he probably won't as it would not be worth his time.
Same for fox? because they lie unremorsefully, by those standards they would've been gone long ago.
Trump is walking a very dangerous path with these kind of public statements.
Lets ask rush...

If Clear Channel won't clean up its airways, then surely it's time for the public to ask the FCC a basic question: Are the stations carrying Limbaugh's show in fact using their licenses "in the public interest?"
I love it when people cite the Constitution, but don't understand or apparently haven't even read the part they cite.
What part of the US Constitution does not give the goverment authority to limit what goes out on the licensed broadcast spectrum? This would include obscene material, threats, and of course fake news presented as truth.
In fact the 1st Amendment protects, specifically the free press, ONLY IF they are reporting the news instead of making it up.
What part of your constitution says it can regulate the airwaves or media?
I say "your" because I didnt sign it.

The US president tweeted on Wednesday: "Fake @NBCNews made up a story that I wanted a 'tenfold' increase in our US nuclear arsenal. Pure fiction, made up to demean. NBC = CNN!"
In a follow-up tweet, he said: "With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!"
Yet apparently Donny doesn't think FAKE NEWS! coming from the White House is "bad for country".

The Commerce Clause of the 10th Amendment codified by the Communications act of 1934. And that has been tested in the courts many times over the last 8 decades.

WTF are you talking about? The FCC, which is a federal agency is tasked with that very thing, to regulate what is on the air. I have a HAM license from the FCC, I could lose it for not following the rules, which one of them is profanity amongst a whole list of other things. I could also lose it for simply having music playing in the background and it gets transmitted over the air. So I don't know what you have been smoking today but you just made an awfully foolish statement.

Thats funny. Nutty Don wants to shutdown a network or two because they air stuff he doesn't agree with. And Obama was the communist?!?!
Totally agree with Trump...a hugely biased lying press is a threat to the US that has needed to be dealt with for decades.
