Maybe less. Bannon seems to be asserting that there is a 70% chance of the 25th amendment being invoked, or otherwise impeachment. I think maybe 2% chance of his term being shortened.

Still, it is possible. That would outrage a few of the folks.

No one could call it a coup either, because using the 25th amendment it would be done by his own hand-picked people, and all (or mostly all) Republicans.

I am not saying it should happen, but it would be far better for the party to replace him with Pence this way than to expose the party to the scandal of impeachment proceedings, which could very well happen at some point.

Meanwhile in real life-
"We just released our quarterly survey that we conduct with all 14,000 of our members across the country. This is the third quarter where we've seen record optimism by manufacturers. So the three-quarter average is the highest -- 90 percent -- in the entire 20-year history of our survey."

I don't believe this for even a second. A reporter finds two anonymous twits to quote and next thing you know its a fact. You folks are the reason Donald Trump will skate right into a second term. Your indignation is not even remotely believable.

The same could be said for Obama's 8 years and the O`bummerbots worshiping his every word.

It sucks to have the shoe on the other foot.

Easy to cherry pick quotes out of context. I'd have to hear Bannon say it or write it in Breitbart to believe it. He supports Trump and as a strategist was probably discussing possible scenarios Trump would have to deal with. Smart planning.

Anyone who believes Trump is crazy should watch his interview last night with Hannity. He was happy, relaxed, optimistic, talking about signing the executive order on health care, upcoming tax reform, Russia, fake media .

On the other hand, any President stuck with an obstructionist Senate might be considered crazy to think anything will get done with the current crop of lazy arses.

Plus even when Obama had Demedia in his pocket his Gallup approval rating was only 40% before and after beating Romney-

By the way, I don't recommend believing anything Leftist gossip rag Vanity Fair says as they are anti-Trump. Let's not forget they were complicit in covering up for Harvey Weinstein.

absolutely Pence was a nobody before Trump's team picked him, and Pence will be a nobody once trump is gone.

Pence has few chances to be POTUS. His best is the 25th, so in my view he will jump at the chance to boot Trumpy out the door.

I would also say congress will support booting trump should they need to as there are more than enough religious GOPers who would be thrilled with Pence , they could hardly return to their "flocks" saying they backed the genital grabber over the pious man.....

But Pence would surely be smart enough to know he'll lose nearly every Trump supporter and a large portion of traditional GOP voters too, because of the sheer outrage or removing a man with the most enthusiastic base of all-time.
Does Pence really want to lose by a record margin?
Why not just wait until 2024 and run for office after Trump?
