No, they're not. One person earned the money they spent. That's fine. The other spent money they didn't earn. Instead, it was taken from other people by force and threat of imprisonment. The latter mentality is selfish and morally repugnant.

So, used by the bank as capital reserve on which to lend money out to others in the form of mortgages, business loans, auto loans, etc. Directly put right back into the economy, unlike what you claimed.
