Just an observation. Every week in my city there are multiple fundraisers for breast cancer (which has a 99% survival rate), I see signs everywhere for "Girls Who Can Code" classes, "Feminist Karate" classes, then there are all these engineering scholarships exclusively for women. I almost feel as if women have been elevated to a sacred status. Meanwhile in my city, the streets are filled with homeless vets who've been burned/maimed. Or I walk by construction sites and see men laboring at 4 a.m. in the pouring cold rain. Seems like both men and women have hardships in society, but men's problems don't get as much publicity because there's a huge effort to "prove" that everything is peachy for men and everything sucks for women.

So start talking about it. What are the issues that men are facing today? Are you specifically struggling with something and need help with it?
Maybe by talking about it here and bringing to light the real issues men are facing things will change for you.
What do you think you can do to solve the issues that men are facing?

Your breast cancer survival rate is seriously flawed.
Women comprise a percentage of homeless and some are veterans. Homeless women with minor children tend to get priority for help over homeless males without minor children. Presumably the children of homeless may be male or female.
Veterans have the GI bill which provides benefits than non veterans do not recieve. Most veterans do not see combat.
Women are employed in the construction trades. Most construction workers work in the cold and rain unless they work in mild climates or areas where it rarely rains.
Aren't there groups that talk about and raise money/awareness for male cancers (prostate, testicular)? Don't men outnumber women in computer science classes?
If 'men' feel that the have been forgotten in America, it's time for 'men' to step up and make their issues heard. What are you doing about the homeless vets in your state (they are mostly male because men still make up most of the military in America)? Construction workers tend to start work earlier than most people but they finish earlier as well.
What men's issues are you willing to be an advocate for, OP?

Women have organized and demanded awareness for so many areas because for so long men were (and in some cases still are) in the position to pass laws.
Just look at the new health care laws that are coming out that make an abortion more difficult, that do not allow the birth control pill to be covered by health insurance, but viagra. These are women's issues that men simply do not understand, yet they are the ones controlling the issues.
Men laboring at 4 a.m. in the pouring rain? You don't think women are doing the same thing? Homeless vets are only men?
