First of all, there will be a trial. So no one has "gotten away" with anything, have they?
In the second place, we don't know that the jury will not see that evidence, so don't ask me to address your premature questions.
There is nothing premature. The officer is saying it will be unfair for the jury to see. The argument is not "what if he argues that it would be unfair". He has argued it.

It’s a little hard to convince someone that doesn’t understand how prosecutors and DAs manipulate the jury for an acquittal for political purposes. People still don’t realize it’s not up to the jury with cases against cops. You can’t explain the conflict of interest of prosecutors holding the case for cops they know to someone that actually thinks the system is working, or has no idea that the government protects itself. Especially if they like seeing people get killed. We live in a gladiator society with a mob mentality, where people won’t think for themselves.
You’ve seen me post this dozens of times and it gets ignored by them.

Have to keep in mind, the Constitution gave the people the right and the duty to throw off such govts if they ever came to power, so 'taking a knee' is a very very tame way of getting that conversation started at the very least.
It is NOT the american way to be totally obedient and subservient, the historical patriots we celebrate every July 4th went to great lengths, broke laws, resorted to violence, and were hated and despised for what they did at the time...oddly a person like that today would be called a terrorist....hmmm?
I'm more afraid of liberals like this who refer to the gov't as tyrannical and the fact that when the majority of Americans honor and show respect for it - they are thought of as treasonous. How they feel it is the right and duty of the people to fight off such govts. TG for the 2nd amendment - that will allow us to protect ourselves when these people decide to do more than kneel.
It doesn't make sense but it happens all the time. This has also been posted here many times. The prosecutor in Cleveland said the grand jury refused to indict Timothy Loehmann when the fact of the matter was, they never voted on it.
One thing for sure, the Dims are making it so easy for Republicans to expand their power with their anti-American shenanigans. Plus or minus 6 additional Republican Senators in 2018.
