L.A paying massive payouts

Here is one for $6.5 million for a biker that hit a pothole.

---
Los Angeles will pay $6.5 million to settle a lawsuit from a man who suffered severe injuries after his bicycle hit a pothole in Sherman Oaks, lawmakers agreed Wednesday.

Two years ago, Peter Godefroy lost control of his bicycle when it hit a pothole on Valley Vista Boulevard, throwing him to the ground. The crash left him with broken bones and a severe traumatic brain injury, according to his suit.

As a result of government negligence, the lawsuit claimed, Godefroy had suffered injuries so severe that he expected to have “some permanent disability.”

Well stop voting in people that sign off on bigger than the norm pay increases and big retirement schemes. If you vote for the ones that do this then don't complain when it happens.

Not funded by the taxpayers though. Big difference.

R or D, no one has been able to stop this runaway train. I don't have any hope that someone can in the future. SMDH.
