I guess Sean Hannity and Fox News does have an impact on congress. So here we go resurrecting a 7 year old investigation, slow week? I'm sure that this will go well with Nunes and Gowdy at the helm.

Quote:
House Republicans on Tuesday launched new probes into several Obama-era controversies, covering both the Justice Department’s 2016 handling of the Clinton email case and the administration’s 2010 approval for the sale of a mining company that gave the Russians partial control over American uranium reserves.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., announced his committee and the House Oversight Committee will investigate the so-called Uranium One deal.
“We’re not going to jump to any conclusions, but we’re going to try and get the facts,” Nunes said.

I've explained it to you several times now, but you're too dishonest to acknowledge there is clearly a new element to this case, which necessitates re-opening the investigation. We did not know until last week that the FBI/DOJ had an ongoing criminal conspiracy investigation into Russia's attempts to expand their nuclear program by gaining access to our uranium. Since the FBI/DOJ knew this was happening and already had the evidence, for them to not alert all parties voting on this sale was incredibly inept & irresponsible in the best case scenario & blatantly criminal in the worst.

It also brings into question Robert Mueller's ability to oversee an investigation into anything Russian related if he himself is under investigation for Russian collusion.

That's not true at all, there was an investigation back in 2010-2013 and nothing became of it. The only thing new is the attempt to interview the FBI informant that was under non-disclosure, that is it nothing else changed. Other than that you are just rehashing the same thing over and over.
