Let's put this into its proper perspective. I have a union background and I know what harassment is. Harassment is generally a repeated action or a single egregious act that creates an atmosphere where a person on the receiving end is offended or upset. The corporation usually has a policy in place that is designed to prevent performance issues arising from sexual harassment. A person asking a co worker for a date is not harassment if it was done once. The person asking should not ask twice unless invited to do so. It is potentially harassment if that person is his or her boss even if it is done once.
As far as Hollywood is concerned, the casting couch is the well known price of admission. For them to complain so many years after the fact is a publicity stunt. In effect they are saying, I'm in this club of irresistible women too. The salacious reports of I was harassed too, crowds out important news like Republican tax plans. Maybe the news is designed that way and that's what I'm complaining about.
