A star hockey player placed a $350,000 check into one of Trump's lawyers escrow account. Cohen cashed it, never would give the money back, and couldn't remember it. He got off Scott free.
"It took years before Cohen was finally deposed and asked what happened to the money. Cohen’s response: “I don’t recall.” He insisted he didn’t know Malakhov, had no idea why the hockey player would write him such a huge check, had no records relating to the check, and had no clue what happened to the money."
Trump's lawyer said “I don’t recall,” when asked in court why the Russian hockey player's $350,000 check was deposited in his personal Citibank trust account.
Cohen insisted he didn’t know Malakhov, had no idea why the guy would write him such a huge check, had no records relating to the check, and no clue what happened to the money.
Despite the check having clearly been deposited in his personal bank account, "a Miami judge accepted Cohen’s story and dismissed the case."
What the hell?
Somewhere in this tawdry tale are several Russian mobsters who turn up in Trump's Tower, including one who later is assassinated.
You can play your little semantics game, it doesn't' deter from the fact Trump has claimed he has a great memory, the greatest memory, and for those who aren't blindly following him know this and can see through it.

SMH
We don't care. He's not Hillary, and he's not a Democrat. That's all that matters. All this talk of meetings, and memories, and now Russians is unimportant.
This weeks total brings to five federal judges who were confirmed while The Left was fascinated about how good Trump's memory might be. That's what we care about. FIVE! Four Circuit Judges and one district Judge. The Democrats attempted a filibuster on every one. https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...ederal-judges/
Obama had zero judges confirmed in his first 6 months.
Trump smiles.
"Asked about a 2016 meeting that included George Papadopoulos, whose plea was made public this week, Trump told reporters: “I don’t remember much about that meeting. It was a very unimportant meeting.”"

From Nixon Article of Impeachment 2....
Nixon "misused the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Secret Service, and other executive personnel, in violation or disregard of the constitutional rights of citizens, by directing or authorizing such agencies or personnel to conduct or continue electronic surveillance or other investigations for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; he did direct, authorize, or permit the use of information obtained thereby for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; "
Now compare Trump.
"Pres. Trump isn't ruling out firing AG Jeff Sessions if DOJ doesn't take action against Hillary Clinton."
