The ultra-rich don't produce anything of value, they simply live off the fruits of others' labor. They feel entitled to your tax dollars, which subsidize their corporations and pay for their wars to get access to markets/resources. When they mess up and their corporations fail, the feel entitled to your tax dollars to pay for their bailouts.
It's time to stop these lazy free loaders from getting rich at our expense. Agree?

Yes, I agree 100%.
And well-done with the titling of this thread. It's going to draw all sort of people who will be eager to dump on those at the bottom of the economic ladder, not expecting it to be the opposite.

Unless you are born into it, people become rich usually because what they do has value - whether it's producing and selling products, entertainment, banking, etc.
Living off the fruits of other's labor? At a certain point, yeah - that's how it works. They mange the process and try to remain profitable. Hiring others gives those people a chance to earn and support themselves as well.
yeh, the ultra rich, like everyone that has a 401(k) retirement plan, or any number of other retirement plans. or perhaps the average person who dabbles in the stock market, yeah those ultra rich people who own shares of a corporation, they should all be punished for wanting to make a little more money than they do at their day to day middle class jobs.
Stupid question. I'm getting rich at their expense. They were already rich and not hurting me one iota.
Those people buy houses, boats, planes, new buildings, ect. A lot of people are making a ton of money off their riches.
Of course you are affected by it. The moneyed ruling class knows that political power follows economic wealth. The more money they have relative to you, the more lopsided the political system gets in favor of their interests. Political power is a zero sum game. Thats why the concerns of the people are not addressed. Those issues dont get big funding. Do you think you can vote against Goldman Sachs in America?

most Americans do own stocks, by a tiny margin, 52%.
However that masks the fact that the top 1% percent of households by wealth own 38% percent of all U.S. stocks.
All of us are creators and leeches at one point in time...sometimes simultaneously.
I don't even consider the USA a capitalist county anymore. Economically we are basically a socialist state. We are taxed everywhere on everything. Gas, Food, Property, etc.. All on the state and federal level. Then you need licensing and more taxes.... this is not capitalism
I own my own company and frequently purchase from state and federal government agencies.... you should see the WASTE of tax-payer money I see every day doing my business.
