And here is that entire speech for all to enjoy

This is because America is not Capitalist. It seems to be something else and just what it is I can't put my finger on. There are both capitalist traits and socialist and it seems to be a hybrid. It's becoming a caste system. Too many are born into wealth not having to work to achieve anything in life. The great middle class we had for so long is disappearing quickly and I fear for my grand kids future. My children may be the last of the middle class in America.

You mean their democrat masters, if I am to stoop to the level of a liberal.

They need to seek to unlock the potential of people, not aspire to maximum handouts.

Be realistic. Money is naturally a zero sum game. If everyone tried their absolute hardest, there would still be people in desperate poverty.

That's because we've come to accept watered down capitalism/socialism. The next 20 years will decide whether we can run a successful socialist system, like Germany, Norway, etc, or a third world banana republic themed socialist nightmare.

Or we can push back and demand real capitalism, with no strings attached, like it used to be before anyone alive today can remember. Back when the government worked for the people, and was a much smaller part of our lives. Back when freedom was a real thing. I say it's time for Americans to roll up their sleeves and get ready to work like they've never worked before. We might soon get a taste of real capitalism, and liberals will get to serve high priced coffee and preach their socialist views to people who could give a damn, because workers will be appreciated again. Once the boomers start retiring en mass, there will be no stopping the prosperity train from dumping boatloads of money on workers in need. People will love capitalism when it works for them, instead of against them.

I hear how France has one of the best social programs for mothers. Where the mother can go on maternity leave for like 2 years to be home and raise her child right, while all of this is on the employer's or tax payers dime. Sure, this sounds great, but seriously, how long is this feasible? What's stopping companies from not hiring young women who have a strong chance of becoming pregnant, just so they can avoid the two year absence?

We have real capitalism its working as intended enriching the wealthy and destroying the middle class. Capital is concentrating in fewer and fewer hands and the shadow of plutocracy is falling on the USA. If people want to take back there lives and jobs we need to be less capitalist not more.

Which year would you say was the cutoff point of real capitalism?

It's interesting to note that of all the countries that have adopted universal healthcare, the number of them that have gone back = 0.

In fact, it's generally considered political suicide to even suggest it.
