Oh please...cornmeal based food was extremely common, just like much of Africa. Sadza is Zimbabwe is similar to fufu in Nigeria, couscous in Camaroon, ugali in Kenya etc. One can use plantain as well.
In the Americas, it's coucou in Barbados, Trinidad etc. Mangu in the Dominican Republic, mofongo in Puerto Rico etc..West/Central Africans brought it over to the Americas with them.
Who do you really think you are fooling not mentioning such a major staple food? Nobody leaves out that type of dish when speaking of traditional foods. Nice try though. LOL.
The problem with Zimbabwe is that Mugabe is a terrible leader. He’s an authoritarian dictator and took state control of all land, regardless of race. He has ostracized not just the white community but also Indians and “coloured.” They need to re privatize farm land and regulate it. The government needs to start subsidizing farms by helping them modernize their machinery and building infrastructure, and grow food exports. There is plenty of farm land in Zimbabwe for everyone. As it is no one is allowed to own farmland and farmers are forced to lease the land from the government. They are going to end up with all of these little farms that can’t grow or expand.
