Seattles Harborview hospital found similar numbers, most "victims" are felons killing other felons, which of course upsets liberals greatly.

It's impressive how strongly liberals hold on to their opinions when they're so utterly ignorant on the topic.
You quoted national figures not Milwaukee and you quoted fatalities not shootings, your 1.2% is an absurd statistic. Still waiting for you to back up your numbers.

You forgot the part where the gunman comes in unexpectedly and opens fire and you wet your pants before you can think about responding.

And it is WAY past time to talk seriously about real solutions to our gun problem. We need to divorce Congress and the NRA so that can happen
Not going to happen.

You think the NRA is going away... you must not know about the other pro gun lobbies, that unlike the NRA isn't full of fudds..

Cool. He stepped up to the plate and did as much good as eating a hot dog would have done. Now what does he intend to do to try to prevent a repeat?

Not clear how accurate that might be. Another article says he was in the Air Force, not the Marines, and that he briefly taught Bible school:

The NRA is not the same organization it started out to be. It needs to be reclassified as an active terrorist organization. The actions of the NRA have killed far more people in this country than ISIS.

Wow! A massive dozen cases spanned over decades? That totally changes the dynamics! With over 100,000 homicides committed during the same period using firearms, we can all take solace knowing our liberal gun laws allowed a gun-toting carrier to save perhaps 20 to 30 people! I'm completely wrong. GUNS EVERYWHERE... YEEHAW!
