You have a lot to learn. You lose many of your rights as soon as you walk into your place of employment. You can't walk in and start a protest and expect to still have your job. You can't just start yelling profanities either. You can't walk in naked and you can't just feel free to do whatever you want and expect to still have a job.

She was not acting as an agent of her employer while riding her bike or posting on facebook off hours.
I'm learning allrighty. Those 1st and 5th amendments are just so much hot air if your employer can abrogate them willy-nilly for a raised middle finger while riding your freak'n bicycle.
She was on her bike on her DAY OFF when she flipped the bird to the Presidential Motorcade. She was not wearing ANY item of clothing or carrying ANY thing that indicated her employer.

There should be limits to what employers tell us we can or cannot do on our own time. What if an employer tells an employee, "If we see you supporting that candidate for president, we'll fire you."? Or something crazy like, "If we see you leave your house after 8pm, we'll fire you."?
We don't allow employers to fire someone based on their religious views, do we? So why should we allow them to fire someone based on their political views?

This is classic example of how fascism works. In a fascist state the private sector works hand-in-hand with the government to exert an iron-fisted code of conduct. The message being sent here is all employees shall salute and respect Trump and vote Republican or you will lose your job. What you say or think on your own time will be monitored by Big Brother Corporation to ensure you comply.
