She was riding her bike on her own time. Gads, we're not talking about the military uniform code of behaviour here.

She was not acting as an agent of her employer while riding her bike or posting on facebook off hours.

I'm learning allrighty. Those 1st and 5th amendments are just so much hot air if your employer can abrogate them willy-nilly for a raised middle finger while riding your freak'n bicycle.

If I don't want you to represent my company as I see fit, you are free to become my competition. After you remove my boot from your ass.

We don't allow employers to fire someone based on their religious views, do we? So why should we allow them to fire someone based on their political views?
Political viewpoint is not a protected class.

She agreed to comply with her employer's code of conduct as a condition of her employment.

She chose to post the picture and disclose it to her employer. She is giving the bird to her employer's customer.

She's a goofball.

And the man who called someone an effing lib-tard with a facebook profile that explicitly listed the company as him employer? Not a goofball, I guess, since he was allowed to delete his facebook post and keep his job.

Wrong. Her company does not work for Trump -- all federal contractors work for the PEOPLE. Virtually all polls agree that at least 60% of America despise Trump and want him out of office. She shouldn't be fired for expressing the majority's opinion on her own time.

I bet he didn't waltz into work and brag about breaking company policy to his boss either like it was some kind of trophy.

"Welcome to the Fascist State...Woman on Bicycle Fired"

Private employer can do whatever they want. Riding dangerously close to a motorcade shows poor decision making skills anyway.

You people are completely unhinged. COMPLETELY! Mental illness is a real problem in this country.

This is classic example of how fascism works. In a fascist state the private sector works hand-in-hand with the government to exert an iron-fisted code of conduct. The message being sent here is all employees shall salute and respect Trump and vote Republican or you will lose your job. What you say or think on your own time will be monitored by Big Brother Corporation to ensure you comply.

Welcome to the jack-booted fascist Trump dictatorship.
