What does the location of a police station have to do with anything? So what?

Do not pay attention to that constant discussion about black on black crime, black people because the same media that exploits that topic in your local news outlets only use it as a deterrent tool to globally publicize us from a world view that we as a people have no value within this society when them and their structure that they've installed created this negative atmosphere that we're all succumbed too. And justifies their criminality against us when they feel the desire to.
Lol..so funny. Zero accountability. Blame someone else.

These are the just and reasonable demands of a righteous public.

But for too many of our citizens, a different reality exists: Mothers and children trapped in poverty in our inner cities; rusted-out factories scattered like tombstones across the landscape of our nation; an education system, flush with cash, but which leaves our young and beautiful students deprived of knowledge; and the crime and gangs and drugs that have stolen too many lives and robbed our country of so much unrealized potential.

This American carnage stops right here and stops right now."

Even I, cynical as I was concerning many of his campaign promises, had a momentarily flicker of hope when he said such, thinking that perhaps, just perhaps, he can make good on this lofty promise.

Alas! It was not to be.

Indeed, it seems that the inner-city carnage has fallen off his radar.

Ah, well. There is, in reality, little that he can do, I suppose. Others have tried, and failed. Drugs, of course, seem to drive much of the violence. Americans do seem to love their drugs, whether illicit or prescribed.
The thing is, the solution has to start in the neighborhoods where the problems are. Those citizens have to demand an end to the violence and the punishment and removal of violent criminals. Not riot when one is arrested or help hide them from police. They need to embrace the educational opportunities the taxpayers provide, not drop out of school. They need to take responsibility for providing for their children, not expect the government to hand them money for breeding. To get jobs, not demand handouts. Until those things happen, not much will change in the urban areas.

Cruel irony I guess.

I`ll ignore it because it is not a fact. BTW, why would a black person vote for the party that has the support of every white supremacist hate group?

Honestly, I wonder the same thing. The Democratic party was the party of slavery and the KKK. It was the Republican party that ended slavery and promoted equality. Doesn't make any sense does it?

Who has been running the city for years?

This is not exactly true. It has plummeted some but D.C. still has one of the highest violent crime rates in the country. While at the same time having the strictest gun laws in the U.S. It is ranked in the top 10 right up there with Baltimore and St. Louis.

Apparently, it never stopped being the party of the KKK and Communist too? You can't make this stuff up
