I guess we found the Trump voter's dream job: Uniform, firearms and permission to shoot brown people.

Because it's a waste of taxpayer's money.

Trump border wall prototypes on display.
I could care less as long as Mexico sends the checks. So far it looks like US taxpayers are being forced to pay for it.

Good we need to have something physical because the "paper wall" has been doing such a great job over the decades.

You sneak in, you break the law. I want to know when the term Illegal alien which used to mean someone that is breaking our immigration laws was redefined as "that is Ok here is some free stuff"??

The Wall is a worthwhile investment. The threat of The Wall has reduced illegal immigration. Imagine what the actual wall will do.

But the $113 Billion EACH AND EVERY YEAR that illegal aliens cost us isn't?

And that is, of course, the important bit.

The "paper wall" might be more effective if it was enforced. Why aren't you advocating that e-verify be strictly enforced, with real consequences for employers who break the law? It would save billions upon billions of dollars that would otherwise be wasted on a wall that anyone could get over, under or around if they wanted to.

But you won't advocate for that common sense remedy because you know the GOP won't enforce it, as it would hurt too many of their big business supporters who routinely break the law for cheap labor. So much better to squander big bucks on a wall instead, right?
